Willow Creek Cemetery/Cemetery Lake

Willow Creek Cemetery/Cemetery Lake is located on the southwest side of Browning on Southwest Boundary Street. The cemetery and cemetery grounds cover approximately 10 acres and the lake covers approximately 18 acres.

The cemetery opened in 1962 and is owned by the Blackfeet Tribe. Concerns are of the migration of formaldehyde to the lake from gravesites at Willow Creek Cemetery. The lake has been used as a recreation area, as a picnic area and for fishing.
