The Camp 9 facility is located approximately 6.3 miles northeast of Babb, Montana on the south bank of the St. Mary River. The property is located in Glacier County, Montana. A legal description of the property was not provided by the user. The property is bound to the north by the St. Mary River and to the west, east, and south by undeveloped land. The property lies on the South Camp 9 Road. The parcel is located in the Section 30, Township 37 North, Range 13 West.

In this report “subject property” refers to the approximately 4.3 acre parcel located within the fenced area containing Camp 9. Areas to the east of the fenced perimeter along the floodplain and terrace were observed as part of this assessment. It was reported by Ed Hedland of the Bureau of Reclamation that the Camp 9 Facility was part of the St. Mary Irrigation Ditch project that extends beyond the subject property for miles.

The environmental concern at this site consists of: staining behind the AST Farm, three burned barrels containing oil filters, buried concrete and metal debris, and asbestos containing materials.
